Brief Description: Electrical work on ELT, wings and headsets
42E-04: Connected the red and black wires coming from the 453-1101 ELT Connector Adapter to the corresponding wires coming from the 452-6505 Buzzer with butt splices. Installed the ELT on its mounting tray, connected the adapter and Coax Antenna Cable and secured the wires underneath the velcro strap. Covered the end of the WH-F55 GPS Data Out wire and the blue wire from the connector adapter with heat shrink tubing instead of installing butt splices.
31B-17: Redid the installation of the headset and audio jacks. Installed additional isolator washers on the headphone jacks which was not prescribed in Section 31-10 (old installation plan). Removed the paint underneath the audio jack to allow for grounding. Placed zip ties around the headset wires and wing electrical connector wires.
31A-09: Installed the F-00034 Wing Electrical Brackets. A couple of holes in the F-1226 Seat Ramps did not line up with the holes in the electrical bracket. Had to enlarge these holes in the seat ramps using a small round file and an 8-32 tap. Applied blue loctite to the screws.
