Brief Description: Final-drilled holes in Flaperon Torque Arms & Tube
30-03: While the wings were installed, checked the gap between the wings and fuselage and marked the areas that need to be trimmed and filed. I need to to remove some material from pretty much all around of the inboard edge of the wings.
Detached the wings and removed the Flaperon Torque Arms and Flaperon Torque Tubes.
SA 03-17-11: Visually inspected the WD-1215 Flaperon Torque Arms for defects in the welds and did not find any.
32-10: Match-drilled #30 holes into the bottom of the torque tubes. Final drilled the holes to #12 using a drill press which worked very well. Bolted the torque arms to the F-1206D Bearing Brackets including the autopilot servo on the left side. Then bolted the torque tubes to the torque arms per the plans.
