Brief Description: Drilled hoes in Flaperon Torque Tubes
With some turning and pushing I was able to insert the A-1307 Actuation Brackets well into the WD-1219 Flaperon Torque Tubes. Ensured the inboard ends of the torque tubes were flush with the ends of the WD-1215 Flaperon Torque Arms. Cut four 0.125 inch thick shims from a piece of aluminum plate I got from Lowes. Clamped the shims to the outboard end of the Flaperon and the Wing to allow some droop of the Flaperons. Placed aluminum spacers (temporary) between the torque tubes and torque arms, and clamped them together. Match-drilled #30 holes into the top of the torque tubes. Will drill the bottom holes and final-drill tomorrow.
33-03: While the wings were installed, marked the fuselage (around the wings) for the location of the VA-204 Seal Strips.
