Brief Description:  Canopy frame work and avionics wiring

34-02: I ordered a countersink cutter with a #12 pilot from Aircraft Spruce but is back-ordered I I can't complete Step 2 of this page. Installed blind rivets in the holes in the canopy frame that were match-drilled before. Deburred the edges of the canopy frame.

34-07: Drilled a pilot hole in the C-656 Canopy Latch Handle and then match-drilled a hole into the tube of the WH1218 Canopy Latch and final-drilled the holes to #19. Tapped the rear tail of the Canopy Handle. Countersunk the hole in the forward part of the Handle. I filed the Canopy Latch tube to shorten it a little bit but, somehow, I overdid it and the distance is a little shorter than the prescribed 3-13/16. I'll see if it will still work. Otherwise, I may have to replace the part.

42C-03 and -04: Replaced the thumb screw in the WH-RV-Optional Harness d-Sub backshell that I had broken while tightening it. I had to replaced one of the ES-00164 Backshell Interconnects also. Used low strength thread locker instead of medium strength. I'm blaming the latter for causing the thumb screw to break. Organized the wires above the Panel Base and wrapped zip ties around them.

Installed the SV-EMS 220 Engine Monitoring Module to the Firewall Upper and he SV-BAT-320 Backup Battery to the Panel Base. Connected the WH-00020 Skyview SV-D1000 Harness to the Control Module. Connected the 2 "EMS" harnesses to the Engine Monitoring Module. Installed the USB socket to the Panel Base. Installed fuses to the AV-50001 Power and Switch Module and the F-12123A Fuse Holder.
