Brief Description: Drilled hole in Firewall and tapped holes in Nose
Final-drilled the other hole (right side) in the Firewall for the Engine Mount Standoff. As with the left side, this was slow and I used progressively larger drill bits. Bolted the Standoff to the Firewall Assembly and torqued the castellated nuts to 180 in lbs and then inserted cotter pins.
Tapped 5/16-24 two holes on the top of the Nose Fork Assembly and installed the screws. Installed the assembly to the Nose Gear Leg including the washers. I could not finish this step because I don't have a large wrench (1-1/2 inch diameter) to tighten the nut that will hold the assembly in place. I'll need to wait until I visit a tool store and get the appropriate tool.
