Brief Description: Riveted left side skin doublers and attached left
Completed riveting the left Side Skin Doublers, except the bottom holes, using a manual rivet puller. I’ll leave the F-1273-L Baggage Corner Skin unriveted until I’m sure there are no more modifications to do to this area and until I decide to attach the Tail Cone to the Fuselage. Clecoed the right Baggage Corner Skin and the right Side Skin Doublers to the Fuselage. Will rivet the Doublers once I get a working air compressor.
Bolted the U-1202C-B Outboard Doubler Plate and U-1202D-B Ouboard Wear Plate to the left side of the Center Section Assembly. The prevailing torque of the AN365-428 nuts is 20 in lbs and final-torqued them to 80 in lbs (20+60). Attached the U-1202-L Gear Leg and secured with the U-1202 Outboard Main Gear Attach Bracket and the inboard end secured with prescribed hardware (U-1203E Inboard Doubler Plate, U-1203B Inboard Wear Plate, U-1203C Doubler Plate and U-1203 Inboard Main Gear Attach Bracket. This process was quite slow when doing it by yourself, working below the fuselage and then above the Center Section Assembly. You wish you have more than 2 hands to do this step. Will torque the bolts later.
