Brief Description: Replaced aft fuel return line, worked on avionics
28-04 to 28-06. Installed the Fuel Return Line Aft but had to make some minor adjustments (bends) to make it fit. Placed a couple of clamps around the Fuel Line Tank (F1259F) and the Fuel Return Line Aft. Removed the F-1259E Fuel Line Pump-Valve because it got gouged by the Flap Handle. Fabricated a new replacement line. It was hard to “jog” the fuel line downward forward of the F-1204A Bulkhead.
42D-17 and 42D-19. Installed the WH-00055 Xpnder Ant Cable Extension to the TX-Ant but one of the connectors from the wire fell off. Will return to Van’s for a replacement. Connected the Tunnel Harness to the WH-00036 Tunnel Conversion Harness. There are multiple instructions on the SV Upgrade from different sections and there is a notice to reposition certain pins. Therefore, will not finalize the wiring installation yet until I’m very sure on what to do.
42C-02. Installed the AV-5000A Control Module on the Panel Base.
