11/22/12 – 2.5 hours 31A-03 to 31A-04. I was able to pull the tie wrap around the wires to the left wingtip light and then removed it. Since I can’t reach the string/line that I’ve previously placed, I decided to use the WD-B212 Nav/Strobe Power Wire to pull strings from the wing tip to the wing root. I first had to remove the pin from the Molex housing and then attached 2 lines (used fishing line) to the wire and secured with tape and heat shrink tubing. This was successful and I was able to pull the Nav/Strobe Power Wire back into position. I did have problems pulling the other wires through the wing. In fact, the wires (upgrade) were being caught or stuck (probably at the snap bushings). After repeated efforts I was able to pull the WH-B318 Strobe Sync Wire. I still have to pull the WH-B203 Strobe Power Light in a now narrower opening. Clecoed the W-00028 Doubler Plate to the W-1208-L Nose Rib. I’ll rivet it once I get all the wires installed. Had to stop work early to prepare Thanksgiving dinner.
