Brief Description: Installed Servo Trim Wire Upgrade
I purchased the Servo Trim Wire Upgrade and installed it today. Removed the Pitch Trim Servo Assembly from the Tailcone and removed the Servo from the old tray. Secured the Servo to the new tray. Installed new polymer bushings after deburring the holes per the plans. Removed the old spade connectors and replaced with Molex pins and inserted them into the ES-00044 Molex Plug. The pins were so small and I used a magnifier to see what I was doing. Attached the Servo to the Pushrod Assembly and attached this assembly to the Tailcone and AST assembly. Tested the Servo with a 12 volt battery and it still works.
Removed the old connectors from the WH-P30 Trim Wires and replaced with Molex pins and inserted into a plug that will mate with one in the servo tray.
Did some minor trimming/filing of the upper and lower tailcone fairings to have the prescribed gap. Assembled a rack for parts bins.
