Brief Description: Installed PTT switches in control sticks
The 7/8 plastic plugs I ordered from A/C Spruce arrived today. They fit perfectly and the space between the flanges easily accomodated the PTT switch. Drilled a 1/4 hole in the center of each plug but had to file it a little bit for the switch to go through. Inserted the bicycle grips onto the control sticks. Threaded trimmer string from the bottom of the sticks all the wal to the top. It took several tries to do this. Attached the PTT switch wires to the string using heat shrink tubing which I saw in a HomebuiltHelp video and then pulled the wires all the way to the bottom of the stick, It actually worked.
