Brief Description: More prep work on the Fuselage Side Skins
Deburred the Longerons. Trimmed the excess material at the aft ends of the Fuse Side Skins. Bent ("break") the bottom and aft edges of the skins. Dimpled the nutplate attach rivet holes in the skins. Used pop rivet dimple dies for the holes that could not be reached by the squeezer. It was hard to dimple the holes using the manual rivet puller and had to use the pneumatic riveter. The holes dimpled by the pop rivet dies looked pretty good and I did not see a difference between those dimpled using the squeezer. Deburred the side skins and then primed them and the Longerons. Once the primer was dry sprayed Rust-Oleum silver hammered finish.
