Brief Description: Drilling and Riveting of Fairings
Haven't worked on the airplane for awhile and delayed doing what little is left to do with the Emp/Tailcone kit. The Wing kit is scheduled to ship 3rd week of January and will get busy again once it arrives.
Today I sanded the V-Stab Tip Fairing again to allow a little bit more clearance when the rudder is fully deflected. Match-drilled the fairing and cleaned the chips. Riveted the Rudder Tip Fairing per plans. Removed the V-Stab from the Tailcone for riveting. A lot of bolts and washers to remove. I hope I don't lose any of them. Riveted the V-Stab Tip Fairing. This completes what is supposed to be done with the Emp/TC kit at this time. To fully complete this kit I need parts that did not come with the kit but are included in the Finishing kit. I will order it after I finish the wings and fuselage, meaning at least a year from now.
