Brief Description:  Baggage Bulkhead, Aft Floor and AOA mods

Dimpled the holes in the F-00083 Aft Baggage Floor and deburred the edges. Primed both F-00083 and F-00081 baggage floors.

I'm going to modify the Baggage Bulkhead Corrugation (F-1207F). There are 3 methods that are posted on the VAF.net forum. Decided to follow the one using aluminum angles because it looks more stable and stronger than the other two. It does look more complicated, though. Found a piece of aluminum that is a half rectangle which I can use to make angles. Measured and marked the baggage bulkhead and the piece of aluminum. Trimmed the aluminum part to make 2 angles, one to be positioned vertically and the shorter one horizontally. Deburred the edges. Will drill holes later.

Continued to work on putting an AOA system. Cut the Tygon tubing at the left side of the fuselage at the hole where the wing electrical connectors are located. Installed Luer-Lok fittings to the tube ends. Routed the other tubing to the access hole where the stall vane is accessed and passed it through the lightening holes. Drilled holes in 2 wing ribs to place zip ties to secure the tubing. I noticed that I did not rivet the most forward holes in the bottom of the left wing. Riveted the open holes with LP4-3 rivets. Marked the hole location for the AOA sensor, drilled a #44 hole and inserted a needle inflator. This is the AOA mod by Joe Gores. Will decide later to use the needle inflator or a rivet.

Got to fly in an RV-12 SLSA owned by Howard Hollins (N767HG). It was choppy below 6000 feet but it was a good flight and enjoyed it. The -12 is quite responsive and fun to fly.
