FINALLY !!! It's done, it's done, hallelalujah it's done !!! Of course I have the wings, tail surfaces, etc still to paint, but come on, doesn't she look good! I continue to be impressed with the Stewart Systems paint as I have NO prior experience, have made PLENTY of mistakes, and still have a beautifully smooth, glossy paint. I'm sure I could have used a little less paint, saved a pound or two of weight, but hey, I'll go low carb for a couple of weeks and make up the difference ;-) I am so happy to have this done, I've been babying this thing for month, being to careful not to get the primer coat contaminated, etc. Now I am free to move on with the build.
By the way, the mystery bundle under the plane is the canopy for a Tuscano close air support attack aircraft. Why is it under my Savannah?? Stay tuned...
