Since I had the paint booth already set up, and its the only warm spell for who knows how long, I got a few small things painted as well. Inside the cockpit the rudder cables are covered up to keep undesired objects (like feet) out of the way. ICP also cleverly designed some space into the covers for charts, logbooks, check lists, etc. I got these painted up and ready to installed.
While I had my tools out, I spent some time working on a Christmas gift for our son. I dug out my first tool box that my Dad gave me when I was in high school. Now that our son is out on his own, he needs a good set of Craftsman tools. I cleaned it up, sanded it down, primed and painted it with the same aircraft paint. I found a Made in the USA 02 78 stamp :-)
