The first pic show the finished install. The last two pics show the backet I fabricated to secure the front end. Each "rose petal" is riveted to the tube and the bracket was formed to tied into the original fold at the bottom of the rear baggage compartment wall and to fit under the vertical brace. I felt like this would ensure that the entire structure was tied together and that the baggage wall would retain its strength.
The dryer vent tube is extremely light and flexible. My son was surprised as was I that after installation, the entire fuselage could be picked up by lifting on just the tube!
