Looks like I'll be in this category for a while! :-) After a painful procedure of getting some pesky skin cancers removed, I decided some aircraft construction therapy was in order! It took me most of the day to put the frames together as I wasn't feeling up to par, but at least I could work for a few minutes, them shuffle out to the garage, then shuffle back as I tired easily... Still, excellent therapy overall!
I followed the manual and the well numbered pieces and started putting each frame together. After I got the parts sorted into the appropriate piles, the assembly process was fairly straight forward. Counting the tail post, there are 10 "frames" altogether.
While most frames are very light, I was really impressed with how stought and stiff the 10th frame is. I think this is the frame that trasitions into the cockpit... makes sense that it is much more heavily built.
