It still excited me to select a new category for these post, welcome to the "Fuselage section!" I dumped all the parts out of the box, opened up the manual and started spreading things out. I used the inventory list in the manual to get all the parts organized and laid out for prep. I dug through the box (which is getting much easier) and found all the longer pieces necessary. These were the first parts that really needed some deburring attention... So... each part was lightly filed to remove sharp adges and all holes were deburred. Then mating surfaces were primed with the supplied sealer. Even thought the pile of parts looked intimidating, you just keep following the manual. Suddenly, everything made sense as the parts were seperated into the appropriate sub structures. After that it is a straight forward process of trial fitting each substructure with clecoes. The manual shows particular direction they want the rivets to be pulled... if a mistake is made, simply drill out the rivet and pull again. I think that is my favorite part of this construction technique, "do overs" are allowed !! ;-)))
