Some off the other "squawks" that I've been working on inbetween resin curing stages have been associated with the main gear. I have had a slight weep of brake fluid at the connection of the brake line and brake calipers. It hasn't been an issue and I certainly didn't want to stop flying to deal with it, so now is a good time to get all the little issues resolved. I removed the fitting, redoped it, and tightened it a bit more, all seems well.
I also had a weird issue, the left main tire became "lumpy" or egg shaped. It gave me a strange wobble feeling during slow taxi that aggravated me. The bearings, axle, and wheel are fine and turn true, just the odd tire. I don't know if maybe I had too much air pressure in them, or am just lucky enough to get a defect tire? Fortunately I was able to order a new tire from Amazon's aerospace division (it's a golf cart tire ;) so I removed the new/old tire and installed the new replacement. Here's hoping that's the cure. I also let each tire down to 15psi instead of the max of 20psi. Onward to go Upward! :-)
