So I'm really quite pleased with my electrical conduit. I've run very lightweight, flexible water tubing through the nose ribs to insure I'll be able to run the appropreate wires for my landing lights and wingtip strobes/nav lights. I've got the 1/2" size coming from the wingroot to the spar inspection access panel about mid wing, that conduit will carry two wires, one for the landing light and one for the wingtip light. Then I have a 3/8" line going from the midpoint on out to the wingtip. The smaller size only has to carry the wingtip wires.
I also drilled to holes to size for rubber grommets, giving my wires excellent support and abrasion protection throughtout the entire wing. The conduit will also make running few wire a simple process if the need every arises. You find yourself trying to think of such future needs as you begin closing up the wing :-)
