lower elevator skins applied. Trying to line sand the elevators on the bench is near impossible. The elevator skeleton is fairly delicate and I was also concerned about twist . So I made four angles attached them to the cord plane - once this was done I set up a 360 degree laser and then adjusted the angles height so that all 4 points were dead on . This held the elevators perfectly for line sanding and ensured a straight and true cord plane .
