Now that everything is deburred, its just a matter of final drilling all the skin holes. The manual says to start in the middle and work your way out…and place a cleco at each hole. That’s a lot of clecos, so I had to order some more...another 200 silver clecos. I imagine the wings will take even more…when they get here (coming up on 11 months since order date). Anyway, I final drilled the elevator horns and close outs…now just working my way across the skins. It’s a slow process, pull cleco, dill, replace cleco, mark hole, then repeat, so on and so forth. I’m also drilling the trailing edge as well, 90 degrees to elevator chord line.
