Brief Description: Attaching and drilling elevator counter weight
I clecoed one side of the right elevator E-713 counterbalance skin to E-704 counterbalance rib and E-703 end rib. I then inserted the E-714 counterweight in place according to drawing DWG 5. I next match drilled to #12 through the holes in the counterbalance skin, through the counterweight and through the two ribs making sure the drill would exit centered on the rib flange. After I had the holes drilled, I removed the counterweight and clecoed the rib and counterbalance skin assembly to the E-702 elevator spar. I then clecoed the E-709 root rib to the spar and match drilled to #40.
