I started some preliminary work on the right elevator today. I clecoed the E-610PP and E-611PP reinforcement plates to the E-702 spar and match drilled the holes to #40. Next, I deburred and fluted the E-703 and E-704 counterbalance ribs. I did the four ribs for both the right and left elevators to save time since the steps were identical. Next, I clecoed the E-703 and E-704 ribs together and clecoed the assembly to the E-702 spars as specified in drawing DWG 5. I match drilled the holes and removed the spar from the ribs. Both E-714 counterweights were next placed on the forward end of the E-703 and E-704 ribs and the E-713 counterbalance skin clecoed over the top of the counterweights. Done for today
