I spent most of today deburring the remainder of the engine baffle pieces. I had to start by peeling off the blue protective film. Then I deburred all the edges using various tools. I clecoed the individual baffle pieces together as called out in the baffle assembly instructions OP-40 and match drilled the holes to #30 and #40 as called out in the instructions. I checked the fit of each baffle to the engine. I am holding off on riveting the baffles until I have the cowl fitting properly. This is because I am not using Van's cowl, but the Sam James cowl with the fiberglass plenum. Once the cowl fits, than I can fit the plenum and last fit the baffles to the plenum.
