Brief Description: Continue with baffle construction
Continued with deburring more of the baffle pieces consisting of Cylinders 1,2,3 and 4. I cut a piece of 0.063 x 1 x 12 flat aluminum stock and trimmed it as shown in OP40-3. This is FF-713 and is a spacer between CB-705A cylinder 4 aft baffle and the CB-1004A Cylinder 4 baffle. I matched drilled the spacer to #30. Deburred doubler plates and match drilled to #40 for the Cylinder 4 baffle. I dimpled the doubler plates and baffle and riveted with AN426AD3-3.5 rivets. Cylinder 1 and 2 baffles also have doubler plates as called for in OP40-5. Once done with those I deburred 3 engine brackets to support the baffles. I have to stop here for now until I fit the Sam James fiberglass plenum to the engine. Then I will be able to finish trim the baffles to the plenum and attach to the engine.
