Van's Aircraft Baffle Kit for the parallel valve IO-360 consists of several stamped out aluminum pieces and a hardware bag. This first day was mostly spent studying the instructions and cutting pieces to length and also trimming off excess where called for on instruction sheet OP40-2. Once the 9 pieces were cut and trimmed I deburred all the edges. OP40-3 calls for riveting 2 doubler plates to the CB-1004A Cylinder 4 baffle. I deburred the two doubler plates and match drilled these to the baffle. I deburred and then countersunk all 6 holes with my rivet squeerzer for AN426AD3-3.5 rivets. I finished by riveting the 6 rivets. Last I match drilled the CB-1004C baffle brace angle to #30 and deburred those holes.
