Brief Description: GAP 26 Pitot Probe Tube Flaring
I have the pitot probe mount ready to install to the left wing, but I have to cut the pitot pressure tube and AOA tube to length so they will not contact the upper wing skin. I also have to flare the tube ends and add the necessary AN hardware. I clecoed the mast mount to the left wing lower rib and measures the depth from the mast to the top wing skin. I subtracted 1.5 inches for clearance and fittings space and cut the tubes. I cut one tube slightly shorter so the AN nuts would not interfere with each other. I installed one AN818-3D nut and one AN819-3D sleeve and flared the tube end. I did the same thing with the other tube and then test fit into the wing with plenty of clearance.
