Garmin G3X Touch installation manual pages 14-34 and 14-35 show the installation of the GSA 28 pitch servo for the RV-7A. First, I installed the stop bracket to the servo as shown on page 14-16 and then I assembled the push rod to the length of 5.575" as shown in detail A on page 14-34. I gathered all the necessary hardware and set aside for now. I proceeded to the next step, which was to drill a hole into the F-635 elevator bellcrank that the pushrod attahes to. Garmin page 14-35 shows the location to drill a #11 hole for an AN3 bolt 2.5" from the center pivot bearing of the elevator bellcrank. I driiled and deburred and reamed to a final size of 0.192". I installed the bellcrank to the bellcrank channel and bellcrank rib as shown in DWG 26 from harware I had previously bagged when I first made the bellcrank. I installed the GSA 28 servo and the pushrod as shown in Garmin page 14-34. I will make the pitch servo wiring harness at a later date.
