I had previously drilled the two static port holes as shown in DWG 28. I decided to use Proseal to attach the two aluminum static ports to the inside of the fuselage skin. I first cleaned and then scuffed up the skin and ports with a scotch red brite pad. I cleaned the surfaces with with Lacquer Thinner. Next, I mixed up a small batch of Proseal and using a small brush I applied a film of sealant to each static port. I installed each static port and used a piece of wood leaning against the port until dry. Later I will install the static lines.
