Brief Description:  Brake LIne Fittings

The brake lines are made from ATO-032 x 1/4" aluminum tubing. I studied drawing 36A and visited builder web sights to get a clear picture on how to run the lines. First I installed the 2 AN elbows to the F-6122-1 bracket that I had previously riveted to the firewall. The left fitting is an AN837-4D 45 degree elbow and the right fitting is an AN833-4D 90 degree elbow. I installed them using the AN924 nut and AN960-716 washer. I will leave them loose until the brake lines are in place. Next there are two AN837-4D 45 degree elbows that get installed in the landing gear weldment and protrudes through the bottom of the fusalage. The elbows are secured with an AN924 nut. I had previously enlarged the hole through the bottom of the fusalage giving clearance to the elbow. I loosely installed both elbows and will tighten after the gear legs are in place. Later I will start on the brake lines.
