Brief Description:  Aileron Servo Wiring, Pitot Probe Mast

I started the day peeling the protective blue film from both sides of each lower outboard wing skin that I had melted with my soldering iron previously. This is in preparation of dimpling the skins. Next, I riveted the 4 platenuts to the base of the pitot mast as called for in the Gretz installation sheet. I test fit the mast to the mounting plate and had to do some minor filing of the opening to get a good fit. Then I used two AN426AD3-3.5 rivet to hold the mounting plate spacer to the mounting plate to make it easier to install later. I switched over to the right wing and measured the length of wire I would need to run from the aileron servo to the instrument panel. This came out to 17' including extra. The servo has 2 shielded cables, a power and ground and a autopilot disconnect wire. I laid out my tape measure on the floor and cut each wire to 17'. I purchased a roll of 1/4" braided heat resistant sleeving to protect the wire bundle. I cut this to 14' and used a single wire as a pull line to pull the wire bundle through. I am waiting on cable ties to secure the servo wire bundle to the wing lightning holes.
