Brief Description: Attaching Rear Ribs on left wing main spar
Roger got back to me by 7am. Wow, good service. Anyways, he answered "Yes you will have to trim rib #1 to clear the spar cap. I will let Zenair know the issues." At this time is when i noticed the cutout detail in the plans (doh), it says ribs 1-6 (which i really didn't notice before).
Therefore I spent the afternoon/evening trimming all of the offending ribs (for both wings). Then I drilled and cleco'd them all in place. Ribs 1 and 3 had a plate on the front side of the spar thus forcing me to fit-draw for drill on the rib first instead of drilling in place from the front of the spar.
