Applied electrical power to the system. Found that the MGL V10 radio had continuous mic keyed and that the starter solenoid would not activate with the start button. Both ignition systems work. Fabricated a serial cable to connect a laptop computer to the serial ports. Tested serial communications with both ignition systems. Both communications with the ignition systems work. Experimented with loading different ignition maps into both ignition systems. Both work. No problems found. Found the problem with the MGL V10 having continuous mic key was pilot side PTT wires crossed in a splice connection. Re-connected the PTT wires the correct way and tested PTT operation from both pilot and passenger side. Both work normally. Found that the reason for the start button not activating the start solenoid was that the Main Bus fuse was not installed. Installed that and the start button operates the solenoid. Primer solenoid works, both fuel pumps work as does the elevator trim, and flaps.

Found that the J&S Electronics Vampire ignition knock sensor unit is wried so that power is applied constantly even with master switch off. I need to change the power source so that it is switched with the master switch.
