Replaced the four motor mount -6 nuts with the correct nuts. Torqued the nuts to 200 in lb.
Attached the flourescent light strip to the underside of the instrument glare shield. Tested the light strip to be sure it worked. drilled a hole in the top left edge of the instrument panel and put a grommet in to protect the light strip wires as they pass through to the rear of the panel. Connected the flourescent voltage converter to the outlet of the light dimmer and input of the light strip. Tested the light strip and dimmer. Operated normally.
Put the glare shield in place on top of the instrument panel temporarily held with a couple clecos. Put the fuselage forward top panel in place and clecoed. Applied a bead of fire stop sealer to the top flange of the firewall. Riveted the top panel along the top of the firewall and along the sides. Did not rivet the top panel to the instrument panel at this time.
