Brief Description: Continued Work on Aileron Alignment & Cables
Moved the left wing aft lift cable in front of the drag cable and set the tension on all of the lift cables.
Removed the aileron connection tab to the stick and fabricated another tab which is 5/8 inches longer then the original. Drilled the center hole and the two aileron connections holes equal distance from the center hole. Installed the tab and connected the aileron cables to the stick. Tested the operation of the ailerons and found the movement acceptable but a little stiff. The one issue left was the center of the stick left the ailerons out of trim. When the ailerons were set aligned with the wing trailing edges the stick was off to the left by about 4 inches. To correct this the aileron connection tab on the stick was removed and a new mounting hole was drilled 3/8 inch to the right of the center hole. The tab will be mounted during the next work day and tested.
