Brief Description: Glued Down the Right Side Top Fabric
Laid a one inch strip of glue along the top of the right side fuselage. Pulled the top fabric tight and pressed it onto the right side. Trimmed away the excess fabric leaving one inch of overlap down the side of the fuselage. Worked the step down area of the top fabric in the tail area. Trimmed the fabric to allow for a inside fold at the step-down to be glued in place. Used the small iron to set the top fabric along the right side of the fuselage. Ironed the top fabric at 250 degrees along the top ribs. Applied glue to the front edge of the top fabric and let it set until tacky. Pulled the fabric tight and set the edge with the iron, Trimmed the front edge about 5/8 inches from the seat back. Ironed the turtleback at 300 degrees to set the fabric. Cut a segment of 3 inch fabric tape. Folded the tape in half and marked the center line. Laid the tape along the right edge of the tail section and glued it along the edge. End of day.
