Brief Description: Finishing Fabric Around Landing Lights
Set the large iron to 350 degrees and let it warm up to temperature. Ironed the bottom of the fuselage for the last time. Finished ironing the left side of the fuselage at 350 degrees. Cut the fabric from each of the landing light openings leaving about a 1/2 inch of excess material to be folded back into the opening. Applied glue on the inside of the landing light openings and on the inside of the fabric flaps. Allowed the glue to dry to a tacky state. Folded the excess fabric back into the landing light opening and pressed it firmly on the inside of the landing light opening, On the left landing light opening secured the inside arc fabric using clips to hold the material in place until the flue dries. Additional fitting of the fabric will have to be completed during the next work day.
