Trimmed a patch the size of the step on the left wing stub. Applied glue around the step area and on the patch laid over the step area. Left it to dry.
Laid out the remaining segments of fabric to select the best fit for the bottom of the wing stub. Started the covering at the aft end of the access panel down to the end of the stub. Applied glue to the bottom of the fuselage and attached the bottom fabric along the edge with a one inch overlap. Left to dry. Set the iron to about 300 degree and ironed the fabric along the top of the plywood panel slowly to tighten the fabric over the plywood. Applied glue to the bottom of the outside rib and pulled the bottom fabric over the bottom rib. Trimmed the excess fabric and completed the wrap of the bottom rib. Glued the front edge of the bottom fabric around the aft frame of the access panel. Applied a light coat of glue on the trailing edge of the wing stub and attached the fabric. Trimmed the trailing edge of the fabric and completed the wrapping of the trailing edge. Located a segment of fabric to cover the outside end of the wing stub. Clipped the fabric to the top rib of the wing stub and trimmed away any excess fabric. Applied glue to the top rib and laid down the fabric around the rib. Trimmed the bottom edge of the side fabric for a 1 inch overlap on the bottom fabric of the wing stub. Glued the bottom edge of the side fabric to the bottom fabric of the wing stub pulling the fabric snug down the side of the stub end, Laid the top fabric on the wing stub and glued a strip along the fuselage and attached the edge of the fabric with about an inch of overlap on the side fabric. Made two cutouts for the lift cable attachment points. Pulled the top fabric lightly and glued it to the outside wing top rib. Trimmed away the excess fabric along the edge and ran the small iron along the wing rib. End of day.
