Brief Description:  Covering Right Side of the Fuselage

Installed the right side plywood on the fuselage and found that the instrument panel was hitting the attachment bracket. Removed the plywood and trimmed the bracket to clear the instrument panel circuit breakers when installed. Mounted the plywood with three 1024 screws on the top edge of the plywood. Clipped the top edge of the right side fabric covering to the fuselage taking care to leave the correct about of overhang to glue the fabric completely around the longeron. Cut slits in the bottom of the fabric at each of the lift cable attachment points. Starting at the front of the fuselage trimmed the fabric around each of the protrusions along the top of the fuselage. Applied glue to the longeron starting at the front about 1 1/2 foot at a time. Laid the fabric around the longeron and applied additional glue on the fabric to provide good adhesion. Trimmed any excess fabric from the top edge as I proceeded toward the rear of the fuselage. Trimmed the front edge of the fabric and glued it to the vertical frame at the end of the plywood. Trimmed the bottom edge of the fabric to fit along the bottom of the fuselage back to the tail area. Remaining trimming to be completed during the next work day.
