Brief Description:  Continued Covering the Bottom of the Fuselage

Received a FirePower Model Featherweight Lithium Battery that weights 1.05 pounds for use as an emergency battery. Evaluated the mounting location under the seat on the right side of the cockpit. I will have to fabricate a case to hold the battery and secure it to the frame. Installed a fused link on the positive lead to the battery with a 30 amp mini fuse.

Spot welded the broken tab on the right side of the ground plane to complete securing it to the frame.

Completed gluing the fabric to the cross brace that supports the aft end of the belly pan. Continued gluing the fabric down the left side of the fuselage to the rudder post. Moved to the right side and trimmed the fabric along that side leaving about 2 1/2 inches beyond the edge of the fuselage. Pull the fabric snug along the right side of the fuselage and glued it to the longeron holding it in place with a small clip. Worked down the longeron about a foot at a time trimming the fabric around the frame and gluing the fabric completely around the longeron. Added clips as needed to hold the fabric in place until the glue dries. About four feet remains to be glued and will be completed during the next work day.
