Brief Description: Started Covering the Bottom of the Fuselage
Removed the belly pan from the fuselage and set it aside. Removed the access panels from the bottom of the wing stubs.
Applied a coat of cement to the forward cross brace on the fuselage at the aft landing gear strut. Positioned the covering at the cross brace and clipped both sides to the fuselage. Evaluated the options to cover the wing stubs and decided to cover them independent of the fuselage bottom covering. Positioned the left edge of the covering along the left edge of the fuselage. When the bottom is attached to the left side then the right side will be trimmed to fit. The material removed from the right side will be used to cover the bottom of the wing stubs.
The forward right tab broke free of the fuselage and will have to be re-welded before the covering can continue.
Checked the wiring to each of the position light plugs and found good voltage at each plug.
