Brief Description: Completed Rivet Stitching the Top of the Upper Lef
Used the soldering iron to melt each of the stitch holes in the top of the wing. Installed a pop rivet in each of the stitch holes. Measured and glued a fabric tape on the top of the end rib on the wing. Wiped away any excess glue with a shop towel. Glued a fabric tape over each line of rivets on the ribs of the wing. Glued down the tape on the trailing edge of the wing covering the rib tapes that ended along the trailing edge. Measured the length of the long side of the aileron cutout and cut the fabric tape to length. Folded the tape in half and marked the center line of the tape. Glued the marked tape along the aileron cutout on the wing keeping the center line on the edge of the wing. Applied a fabric tape along the top of the rib tapes across the wing just behind the leading edge. Used the small iron to set the end tape and smooth out the leading edge area. Also ironed down the last fabric tape before the wing tip and the curve of the wing tip.
Glued the aileron cable faring to the top of the bottom left wing over the cable exit from the wing. Glued a fabric patch over and around the faring to secure it in place.
