Brief Description: Completed the Bottom Covering of the Upper Left Wi
Pulled the fabric tight along the wing tip and pressed it around the tip frame. Ironed the outside edge of the tip securing the fabric. Trimmed the excess fabric along the wing tip and ironed the edge down tight to the frame. Applied a layer of glue around the tip and wiped the excess clear with a shop towel. Trimmed the excess fabric from the aileron cutout. Applied a layer of glue along the aileron cutout on the wing. Pulled the fabric tight and ironed it in place across the aileron frame. Ironed the fabric tight on the small end of the aileron cutout. Applied a 1 inch line of glue on the aileron cutout and then pulled the fabric tight and ironed it in place along the small aileron cutout. With the bottom side up laid a 1 inch line of glue along the trailing edge of the wing and along the wing tip. Cut a 3 inch circular patch and glued it over the pitot tubes exit from the wing end. Checked the remaining fabric and found that there was only enough to cover about half of the top of the wing. More fabric will be needed to finish the wing.
