Brief Description: Completed Covering of the Upper Right Wing
Finished installing the pop rivets in the stitch holes on the bottom of the wing. Glued tapes over the remaining wing ribs on the bottom of the wing. Installed fabric tapes on the aileron cutouts both the short edge and the long one. Installed a fabric tape along the trailing edge of the wing. Installed a fabric tape across the bottom of the wing at the top of the tapes covering the wing ribs. Turned the wing over and completed the gluing of the fabric tape on the trailing edge of the wing. Also glued a fabric tape along the leading edge of the wing over the tapes covering the wing ribs. Turned the wing back over and glued eight access port rings onto the bottom of the wing. Cut out eight patches to go over each of the access ports. Glued each of the patches in place and wiped away any excess glue with a shop towel.
The cutouts remain for the struts and lift cables which will be completed on the next work day.
