Brief Description:  300 Degree Ironing of Upper Right Wing

Set the iron at about 300 degrees. Ironed the bottom material starting in the center and alternating on both sides until the wing was covered. Turned the wing over and ironed the top side of the wing. The glue join on the end of the wing starting pulling apart as the ironing got near the end. Pulled the material bock over the rib and fixed in place with the iron. Added a fabric tape to the top of the wing at the end with a 1/2 inch overlap onto the end material. Added another fabric tape to the end rib that was split half and half between the top and end material. Let the glue dry.

Cut patches to cover the front and rear spar ends. Glued both in place. Added a fabric tape to the aileron cutout over the top rib. Finished ironing the top and end material.

Used a probe to find and mark the stitch holes in the rib near the center of the wing which has the join seam over it. Applied the 1/2 inch packing tape over the stitching holes on the rib next to the wing tip. Continued the taping for three more rib and run out of time for the work day. The remainder of the taping and installing the rivets will have to wait for the next work day.
