Brief Description: Installed the Top Fabric on the Lower Left Wing
Lightly sanded each rib to remove any burs. Measured out two sections of fabric and glued them together with a third segment to complete the covering for the top of the wing. Pulled the fabric over the top of the wing and aligned the trailing edge and the right end of the wing. Ironed the trailing edge in place and then ironed the right end down. Turned the wing over and glued the leading edge of the fabric down along the length of the wing. Turned the wing back over so the top is up and pulled the material along the aileron cutout tight and glued it down. Pulled the material snug on the aileron cutout end and glued it in place. Pulled the material tight along the wing tip and ironed it in place. Turned the wing over again and trimmed the excess material from the edges of the wing. Ironed out each of the corners and trimmed away any excess material. Ironed the top of the wing at 250 degrees. Completed a second ironing at 300 degrees. The second ironing of the bottom at 300 degrees will have to wait till the next work day.
