Brief Description:  250 Degree Ironing of Bottom Fabric Lower Left Win

Continued gluing along the leading edge of the wing and ironing the fabric in place. Pulled the fabric tight along the aileron cutout and glued it down the end fabric. Cut away the excess fabric along the aileron front edge. Applied glue along the face of the aileron notch and pulled the fabric tight over the bottom and ironed it in place. Pulled the fabric tight over the wing tip and ironed it in place. Turned the wing over so the top was up. .Cut the excess material from the wing tip with pinking shears. Ironed the edges down around the wing tip tubing. Trimmed the excess fabric from the trailing edge and ironed the edges down around the trailing edge tubing. Turned the wing over again so the bottom was up. Ironed the bottom at 250 degrees. Measured and marked where the bottom aileron cable comes through the fabric. Cut a 3 by 4 inch patch and glued it over the penetration point. Cut a slot at the marked location and fed the cable through. Used the soldering iron to melt opening in the fabric at the front and rear spars. Also melted opening for both aileron cables and the electric wire to the wing tip.

Used acetone to wipe down the top ribs removing all marks. Additional marking to be completed on the bottom on the next work day.
