Brief Description: Pop Rivet Stitch on Top Lower Right Wing
Used the soldering iron to melt each stitch hole through the fiber tape and fabric. Checked the location for the aileron cable penetration of the top material. Cut a 5/8 slit at the marked location for penetration. Used a probe to pull the cable through the slit. Used the air powered rivet gun to install the stitch pop rivets in each hole. Repaired one rivet that didn't get seated correctly and patched the hole next to it from the rivet gun slipping off the rivet. Applied fabric tape over the seam on the left end of the wing and wiped away excess glue with a shop towel. Used the plastic strip to mark the glue lines along the ribs on the left two ribs. Measured off a length of fabric tape to cover the stitch rivets. Glued the tape over the rivets and wiped smooth with a shop towel. Repeated the process for the next rib. End of day.
