Brief Description: Continuing Covering of Lower Right Wing
Ironed the bottom material at 250 degrees alternating back and forth across the wing. Marked each of the eight inspection holes on the inside of the bottom fabric. Applied a patch over the end of the forward spar. Marked the penetration of the aileron cables on the end fabric. Applied two 3 inch circle patches over the cable penetration points. Used the soldering iron to melt the material over the top forward spar and the aileron cable penetration points. Also melted a small hole over the bottom front spar and fished the wing tip wiring through the hole.
Measured out a length of fabric which would cover the span of the wing. Measured a second length of fabric of the same size. Laid the fabric on the table and joined the long edges with a 2 inch overlap gluing the fabric together. End of day.
